While each case is different, I charge a retainer of $1,500 for a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 filing. A Chapter 11 Bankruptcy requires a retainer of $15,000. Additional attorney fees for a Chapter 13 or Chapter 11 will be paid through the reorganization plan.
A lawsuit initial retainer is $3,500 and I would require additional payments of $500 per month as the case progresses toward a trial.

I file bankruptcy petitions for debtors and I sometimes represent creditors in bankruptcies. I filed Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 bankruptcies.
I practice civil litigation in filing lawsuits or representing people who have been sued. This includes family law for divorces, custody disputes, and collection of child support or alimony.

The benefits of hire a local lawyer increase the quality of the presentation of your case. I am sure that I can’t do your job without training, and you should not expect to represent yourself well without training. Additionally, I have come to know most lawyers and judges in town over the last 30 years, which allows me to tailor my representation to best help you.
I care about my clients and have become friends with many of them over the last 30 years. I believe that many of the lawyers with negative reputations are too motivated by money because they have high overhead due to a large staff or t.v. advertising budget. I have a small staff so you get personal service.
In our initial consultation, I will determine if I will accept the case before you leave. In the telephone which sets the consultation appointment, if it is an area of the law that I do not practice, I will find a referral for you.
